迦密柏雨中學手鈴隊獲優質教育基金撥款資助，於2001年成立，為香港首批成立的學校手鈴隊之一。經過二十多年來的發展，於歷任校長的支持及歷任指揮的帶領下，本校手鈴隊現有三套五個八度之手鈴及一套五個八度之手鐘，讓更多來自不同級別的學生能夠參加手鈴隊，並按照他們的演奏經驗及能力分為不同隊伍。各隊隊員均有機會演奏不同類型、風格及難度的樂曲，從中學習多種的演奏技巧，並通過有系統的藝術訓練，建立他們的團隊精神及默契。

手鈴隊向來積極參加各項本地校際比賽，曾於歷屆「校際手鈴比賽」中多次獲選為最佳中學手鈴隊及最佳中學手鐘隊，於手鈴初級組、手鈴中級組、手鈴高級組、手鐘初級組及手鐘高級組賽事中，屢獲金獎的殊榮，成績斐然。近年，手鈴隊參加「Bellprints手鈴國際大賽」、「香港國際手鈴奧林匹克」及「聯校音樂大賽」均有傑出表現，於賽事中囊括多個獎項，包括冠軍、卓越獎項、榮譽金獎及多項金獎，並曾獲公眾投選為「Bellprints手鈴國際大賽最高人氣大獎」之得獎隊伍。

手鈴隊亦致力推廣手鈴音樂，經常獲邀參加不同的演出活動。今年他們參加了由香港校際合唱的交流活動，向内地頂尖合唱團深圳高級中學百合合唱團推廣手鈴音樂。過往他們亦曾經在不同場合中演出， 例如「香港禮賓府開放日」、「香港迪士尼奇妙音樂日」、「校際手鈴比賽優勝者音樂會」及「聖誕歌聲馬拉松」等，又曾於多間小學進行示範演出。除本地演出以外，手鈴隊亦曾前往西安、台南及馬來西亞進行演出及交流活動，獲得當地觀眾高度讚揚，廣受好評。 

為慶祝手鈴隊成立10、15及20週年，手鈴隊曾三度於香港中文大學及本校舉辦週年音樂會，藉此凝聚歷屆隊員，並向社會大眾分享手鈴音樂。

The Carmel Pak U Secondary School Handbell Choir was established in 2001 with funding from the Quality Education Fund and is one of the first batch of school handbell teams in Hong Kong. After over twenty years of development, the team now boasts three sets of five-octave handbells and one set of five-octave handchimes, engaging students from different grades and musical background to join the experience. The team aims to provide students music making experience through various types, styles, and difficulty levels of music, learning performance techniques and building teamwork through systematic artistic training.

The handbell team actively participates in various local inter-school competitions and has been awarded as the Best Secondary School Handbell Team and Best Secondary School Handchime Team in the "Inter-School Handbell Competition." They have won numerous gold awards in the beginner, intermediate, and advanced categories for both handbells and handchimes, achieving outstanding results. In recent years, the team has splendid results in the "Bellprints International Handbell Competition," "Hong Kong International Handbell Olympics," and "Joint School Music Competition," winning multiple awards, including Championships, Honorary Gold awards, and several gold medals. They were also voted by the public as the "Most Popular Team" in the 2023 Bellprints International Handbell Competition.

The handbell team is committed to promoting handbell music and is often invited to participate in various performance events. This year, they have participated in a cultural exchange programme by Hong Kong Interschool Choral Festival, and introduced handbell music with an awarding winning choir, Shenzhen Senior High School Lily Girls Choir. Over the past years, the handbell team has also performed in the "Hong Kong Government House Open Day," "Hong Kong Disneyland Magical Music Day," "Inter-School Handbell Competition Winner’s Concert," and "Christmas Carol Marathon" and some local primary schools. Beyond local performances, the handbell team has travelled to Xi'an, Tainan, and Malaysia for performances and exchange activities, receiving high praise from local audiences.

To celebrate the 10th, 15th, and 20th anniversaries of the handbell team, anniversary concerts have been held three times at The Chinese University of Hong Kong and the school, bringing together past members and sharing handbell music with the public.
