救世軍中原慈善基金皇后山手鈴隊於創校第二年（2022年）成立。在辦學團體及兩任校長的全力支持下，本校設置了一套五個八度的手鈴、一套三個八度的手鐘及兩套四個八度的手鈴板，為全校學生提供了在音樂課中學習手鈴演奏的機會，並發掘有潛能的學生加入校隊進行有系統的專業訓練。目前，我校有五位教師都是專業的手鈴演奏者，在同事們的共同努力下，短短三年間，手鈴隊已經發展為一支60人的團隊。隊員自二年級起，根據體格發展及演奏能力，由手鈴板隊、手鐘隊逐步晉升至手鈴隊。

自成立以來，手鈴隊積極參加各項校際比賽，在2023年起，每年至少獲得10個獎項。這些獎項包括「聯校音樂大賽」多個金獎和銀獎；「Bellprints手鈴國際大賽」組別一冠軍、鉑金卓越獎、以及多個不同組別的金獎和銀獎；此外，二重奏和三重奏手鈴小組更連續三屆囊括「北區小學音樂大賽」樂器小組合奏的冠、亞軍。

秉持救世軍「澤社區」的信念，手鈴隊定期參與社區服務和演出，包括晉峰青年商會三十周年慈善晚宴2024、救世軍聖誕慈善午宴2023、皇后山保良局喜悅薈社區中心的長者服務、皇后山社區報佳音、各大商場的聖誕表演，以及在幼稚園活動中教授小朋友演奏手鈴的技巧等，將手鈴演奏的樂趣和關愛信息傳遞給更多人。

配合校本正向教育的理念，「手鈴」是本校音樂科其中一項重點發展項目。我們致力於普及手鈴演奏，同時以「手鈴」作媒介，培養校隊隊員良好的價值觀和態度，建立守規、尊重和充滿關愛的團隊，讓學生能夠發掘自身的潛能，並在享受音樂的過程中獲得滿足感和幸福感。

The SACCF Queen's Hill Handbell Ensemble was established in 2022, the second year of the school's founding. With strong support from the School Sponsoring Groups and our principals, the school has set up a set of five-octave handbells, a set of three-octave handchimes, and two sets of four-octave belleplates, providing all students the opportunity to learn handbell performance in music classes and discover talented students to join the ensembles by systematic professional training. Currently, our school has five teachers who are professional handbell performers, and through the collaborative efforts of our staff, the handbell ensemble has developed into a 60-member ensemble in just three years. Students begin their journey in primary 2 and progress from the belleplate team, the handchime team to the handbell team based on their physical development and performance ability.  

Since its establishment, the handbell ensemble has actively participated in various inter-school competitions, earning at least 10 awards each year since 2023. These awards include multiple gold and silver awards in the JSMA Music Competition, and the Group I championship and Platinum Excellence Award at the Bellprints International Handbell Competition, as well as several gold and silver awards of different levels. Additionally, the duet and trio handbell groups have secured both the championship and first runner-up positions in the "North District Primary School Music Competition" for three consecutive years.  

Upholding the Salvation Army's belief in "Caring for the Community", the ensemble regularly engages in community service and performances like performing in the 30th Anniversary Charity Dinner of the Junior Chamber International Apex 2024, the Salvation Army Christmas Charity Luncheon 2023, services for the elderly at the Queen's Hill Po Leung Kuk Community Centre, community caroling in Queen's Hill, Christmas performances at various shopping malls, and teaching young children to play handbells during kindergarten activities, thereby spreading out the joy of handbell performance and care.  

In alignment with the school's positive education philosophy, "handbell” is a key development project in our music curriculum. We are dedicated to popularizing handbell performance and, at the same time, using handbells as a medium to cultivate good values and attitudes among ensemble members. We aim to establish a discipline, respect, and caring atmosphere within the team, allowing students to discover their own potential and gain a sense of fulfillment and happiness through the enjoyment of music.
